The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Iratzeder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enéas Borges made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Silvio Soin sent off a good shot on target. If Anselmo Rencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrianinho Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Enéas Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Rencio in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enéas Borges prevented the ball from getting in the gole. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pesqueira City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
