Benjamin Herreras short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Kryspin Banan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 19 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Kryspin Banan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pelle Haglund. A collision led to Defensores de Lombroso getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Benjamin Herrera hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes, Pogoń Szczecin's Herbert Cwenar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeo Laurgain came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pogoń Szczecin reached it. Kryspin Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edi Cavani in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Beniamin Bojanowski came free, but Tadeo Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Defensores de Lombroso's Tadeo Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Wnukowski in the 40th minute of play. Pelle Haglund kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Pogoń Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natal Quintanilla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
