Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cássio Matorin kicked off to start the match. Alfredinho Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Branco came free, but Cacá Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Mendes hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Galo do Cerrado's José Paulo Marinho got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Michel Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacá Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Mendes in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goal looked a bit too open when Dadá Fernandez came free, but Alfredinho Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, IGUIPORÃ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Branco came free, but Cacá Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Andrade having to interfere. Alfredinho Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dadá Fernandez went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After the first half IGUIPORÃ FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Galo do Cerrado getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Manuel Mendes hit a great ball. IGUIPORÃ FC's Álvaro Dionísio was substituted for Joaquim Berger. IGUIPORÃ FC made a substitution. Serginho Porto replaced Michel Amorim. In the 77th minute of the game Renato Pitta made a throw-in which Juan Tinoco played forward. Galo do Cerrado's Alfredinho Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadá Fernandez in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Ortiz in the 79th minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Alfredinho Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cacá Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Matorin in the 85th minute of the match. Galo do Cerrado were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after IGUIPORÃ FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juan Tinoco took the corner. The corner ended in Manuel Mendes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IGUIPORÃ FC's Cacá Paulista did a great save. Antônio Carlos Abreu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredinho Andrade. Alfredinho Andrade dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. IGUIPORÃ FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
