After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Cebo Morejon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Olimpia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cebo Morejon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulu Hayat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the game, Oğuzalp Nurbaki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basmane Texas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Olimpia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Basmane Texas's Oğuzalp Nurbaki got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Basmane Texas's Ulu Hayat got control of the ball when Cebo Morejon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Ulu Hayat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chus Bureu. After having played for 12 minutes, Cebo Morejon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Olimpia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cebo Morejon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cebo Morejon came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Club Olimpia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cebo Morejon couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Caldueño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adem Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulu Hayat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cebo Morejon in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Oğuzalp Nurbaki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dalmacio Caldueño. Club Olimpia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oğuzalp Nurbaki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Basmane Texas booed when Club Olimpia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskarbi Sobrevilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Cebo Morejon made a precise shot to the right of Ulu Hayat. Basmane Texas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Basmane Texas's Ulu Hayat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cebo Morejon in the 31st minute of play. Ulu Hayat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cebo Morejon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cebo Morejon in the 47th minute of play forced Basmane Texas's goalkeeper Ulu Hayat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adem Müller to make the kick off. Kaplan Şerif charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaplan Şerif the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Olimpia booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaplan Şerif didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Caldueño made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Adem Müller sent off a good shot on target. Oğuzalp Nurbaki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Refugio Depino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Club Olimpia got a freekick which was hit by Refugio Depino. If Oğuzalp Nurbaki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Kurt Rıfkı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Basmane Texas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Club Olimpia's Gorbea Sasiain managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kaplan Şerif in the 82 minute of the game. İlker Aydemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Basmane Texas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Olimpia.
