The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Teofila in the 4th minute of play forced Bajen Mucho FF's goalkeeper Ove Hjeltman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedykt Marosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Tham in the 7th minute of play. Bajen Mucho FF's Leif Söderberg got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedykt Marosz made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Stig-Åke Uggstedt sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Bajen Mucho FF's Fritz Forssberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. Kurt Tham might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedykt Marosz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Tham ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Robert Teofila managed to get in a good position for a shot. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Teofila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ove Hjeltman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leif Söderberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Bajen Mucho FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 22 minutes into the match, Kurt Tham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benedykt Marosz. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Tham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Benedykt Marosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Tham, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Filip Wawro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wictor Ahlgren got free with Benedykt Marosz in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Bajen Mucho FF's Benedykt Marosz threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Folke Magnusson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Marosz got control of the ball when Wictor Ahlgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Jucha during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Roland Jucha got a free kick in the 45th minute. Bajen Mucho FF's Stig-Åke Uggstedt shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 46th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benedykt Marosz but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Tham to make the kick off. After 56 minutes, Harry Pihlgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bajen Mucho FF and the MZ Wodzisław Śląski players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 56th minute, Harry Pihlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Gunnar Törnqvist suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 60 minutes, Mikolaj Waldoch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Wodzisław Śląski and the Bajen Mucho FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mikolaj Waldoch kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Stig-Åke Uggstedt struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Benedykt Marosz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bajen Mucho FF. In the 64thth minute of the game Kurt Tham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Benedykt Marosz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Magnusson in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedykt Marosz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to MZ Wodzisław Śląski getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Zenon Bejrut hit a great ball. Evert Gustafsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the MZ Wodzisław Śląski defense, Wictor Ahlgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedykt Marosz. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedykt Marosz should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes MZ Wodzisław Śląski got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Adamski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Uggstedt in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedykt Marosz saved MZ Wodzisław Śląski from getting behind. In the 79th minute Bajen Mucho FF were awarded a corner. Stig-Åke Uggstedt went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Bajen Mucho FF's corner Stig-Åke Uggstedt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedykt Marosz quite easily take care of the ball. When Izydor Adamski fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Wodzisław Śląski's protests and gave Izydor Adamski a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes MZ Wodzisław Śląski got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Adamski. Leif Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedykt Marosz having to interfere. Benedykt Marosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leif Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Benedykt Marosz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Tham in the 86th minute of the match. After some careless play in the MZ Wodzisław Śląski defense, Leif Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedykt Marosz. The MZ Wodzisław Śląski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedykt Marosz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to MZ Wodzisław Śląski getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Roland Jucha hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match Stig-Åke Uggstedt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benedykt Marosz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
