The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Wincent Drab successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sergio Jordy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wincent Drab came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergio Jordy slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. Wincent Drab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Laurgain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 minutes FC Grodzka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Arne Schweinsteiger who took care of the corner kick. When Sylwester Jankowski came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the FC Grodzka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sylwester Jankowski couldn't finish the play. FC Grodzka's Florian Dziatkowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Solustiano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Gogo Gar lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥! In the 39th minute there was a penalty for FC Grodzka. After a rather tough play, FC Grodzka's Wladyslaw Kopacz got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Grodzka were winning 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Laurgain to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 1-7 when Sylwester Jankowski sped through Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fausto Fonso.
