In the 21st minute, Aurelian Fundătoreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zula Bator was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Aurelian Fundătoreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Fundătoreanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zula Bator having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Ursulescu was the one to do the kick off. Zula Bator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Ursulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zula Bator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Tomulescu in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Ursulescu in the 66th minute of play forced KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Zula Bator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aurelian Fundătoreanu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the The Owls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelian Fundătoreanu couldn't finish the play. A collision led to The Owls getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sever Zăreanu hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The The Owls fans cheered their team off the field, for while KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
