The referee gave Sakarias Malmgren a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 7th match minute, Wargön was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sakarias Malmgren to maneuver through the defense. Wargön's Jan-Åke Ståhlman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Wargön from getting a goal against them. Wargön's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conny Stober was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Academica Pulheim had played much better football throughout.
