The supporters of Wargön booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Spivey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Villanueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Törnkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Wargön getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Samuel Esbjörnsson hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Wargön's Bengt-Rune Törnkvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bart Villanueva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bart Villanueva. Bart Villanueva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Martin Tuttle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Ståhlman made a huge save. After having played for 17 minutes, Bengt-Rune Törnkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wargön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt-Rune Törnkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Wargön were awarded a corner. Jan-Erik Tunberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Rudolf Pendleton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan-Åke Ståhlman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 22nd minute of the game, Lazaro Ragsdale landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist's late challenge caught a El Canalla de Chicago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Törnkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Wargön got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Rune Törnkvist. Jan-Åke Ståhlman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Roark in the 27th minute. Bart Villanueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Rune Törnkvist in the 33rd minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Wargön's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Ståhlman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Bristol. In the 41st minute, Rudolf Pendleton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Canalla de Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Jan-Erik Tunberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tanner Waller charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tanner Waller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanner Waller to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan-Erik Tunberg made a kick off. Rudolf Pendleton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Jan-Erik Tunberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Erik Tunberg kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Tanner Booker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tanner Booker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 minutes, Rudolf Pendleton made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Wargön's Jan-Åke Ståhlman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute Monty Stout shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Ståhlman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Jan-Erik Tunberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Wargön defense, Monty Stout kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Åke Ståhlman. The Wargön fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Åke Ståhlman should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Wargön getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sakarias Malmgren hit a great ball. El Canalla de Chicago's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
