Herman Kihlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. A collision led to FC Blåvitt getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Folke Smitt hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Edgar Oblemenco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Blåvitt booed when F.C. YKE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Lunca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staffan Sundén, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes F.C. YKE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sune Byström who took care of the corner kick. FC Blåvitt's Sune Byström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Helmuth Duckadam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, FC Blåvitt's Hampus Söderström got control of the ball when Daniel Lunca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hampus Söderström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Oblemenco in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Sundén in the 20th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Oblemenco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, F.C. YKE's Edgar Oblemenco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hampus Söderström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 37thth minute of the game Emilian Bâlea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Emilian Bâlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Bergstedt's late challenge caught a F.C. YKE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Bergstedt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when FC Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Bergstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Lunca got free with Hampus Söderström in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 46 minutes, Staffan Sundén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Blåvitt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Staffan Sundén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Lunca made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, FC Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Oblemenco came free, but Hampus Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Helmuth Duckadam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilian Bâlea in the 61st minute. Aydemir Kerem charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aydemir Kerem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Staffan Sundén fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Blåvitt's protests and gave Staffan Sundén a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st minute, Staffan Sundén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Edgar Oblemenco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. YKE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Helmuth Duckadam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Öberg in the 94th minute. F.C. YKE's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
