With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Hök prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Hök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonín Čáslavský in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yngve Sandström got free with Werner Volný in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antonín Čáslavský might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Hök. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonín Čáslavský ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Hök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonín Čáslavský in the 11th minute of play. Werner Volný made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Yngve Sandström sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the match, Pajala Sunrise's Gýmir Gryc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Werner Volný narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pajala Sunrise's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gnýr Gnaust in the 16th minute. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonín Čáslavský, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute, Jim Tinglöf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Kočka, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Moneyball's Werner Volný proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Moneyball from getting a goal against them. Pajala Sunrise's Yngve Sandström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonín Čáslavský, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Gýmir Gryc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Antonín Čáslavský had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moneyball made a substitution. Ethan Hunt replaced James Gordon. Daniel Hök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiří Martinek in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yngve Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. Werner Volný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Sandström in the 56th minute of the match. Daniel Hök stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonín Čáslavský's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Antonín Čáslavský who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Daniel Hök when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moneyball's Werner Volný played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gýmir Gryc in the 65th minute of play. When Antonín Čáslavský came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Moneyball fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonín Čáslavský couldn't finish the play. Pajala Sunrise's Arne Tingelholm was substituted for Gýmir Gryc. Josef Matuška's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Hök read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Karl-Oskar Högman kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Moneyball's Doctor Sócrates was substituted for John McClain. Daniel Hök showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Martinek, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Antonín Čáslavský recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arne Tingelholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Volný having to interfere. Daniel Hök made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Antonín Čáslavský sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Moneyball players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pajala Sunrise.
