Diego Becker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Honesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Vero Ortiz came free, but Ignacio Bessone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Lleir's late challenge caught a Centenario Bohemio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Lleir helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Las Momias F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Lleir. Ignacio Bessone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Txerran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Las Momias F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Las Momias F. C.'s Teobaldo Txerran looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Centenario Bohemio booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Lohitzun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Becker was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Las Momias F. C. booed when Centenario Bohemio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Maurino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Arias in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Vero Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Bessone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Vero Ortiz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacio Bessone. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. With a little luck, Centenario Bohemio's Ignacio Bessone got control of the ball when Teobaldo Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Bessone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Txerran, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Las Momias F. C.'s Camilo Honesto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Las Momias F. C. from getting a goal against them. 55 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Tarragon came free, but Ignacio Bessone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match Las Momias F. C. got a corner. Centenario Bohemio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teobaldo Txerran ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Centenario Bohemio's Nicolas Mosca got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Txerran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Bessone was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Camilo Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Rudolfo in the 71st minute of play. Ignacio Bessone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Txerran, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Las Momias F. C. were awarded a corner. Teobaldo Txerran went to the cornerflag to take it. Teobaldo Txerran made a great header on Las Momias F. C.'s corner, it was just that Centenario Bohemio's Ignacio Bessone managed to reach the ball for a save. When Cristian Tarragon got free in front of the goal in the 78th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ignacio Bessone was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cristian Tarragon hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ignacio Bessone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Lleir, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Robinson Paterson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centenario Bohemio's supporters rose to their feet, but Robinson Paterson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Honesto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
