In the 4th minute Donato Amatori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 9 minutes, Federico Di Iorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alba FC and the Big Babousa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Federico Di Iorio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Demetrio Felli made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Mauricio Padro sent off a good shot on target. When Mauricio Padro came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Big Babousa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Padro couldn't finish the play. Big Babousa's Damian Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Amatori in the 16th minute of play. Damian Transito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico De Grandis in the 17th minute of play. Damian Transito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Di Iorio in the 19th minute of the match. Damian Transito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrico De Grandis went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 24 minutes, Jairo Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Big Babousa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Ixaka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Christian Paganelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Transito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Di Iorio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Big Babousa's Damian Transito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico De Grandis in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Genaro Porfirio got a free kick in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo-Enrique Bochini in the 43rd minute of play forced Alba FC's goalkeeper Demetrio Felli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Alba FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrico De Grandis was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Big Babousa defense, Donato Amatori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Transito. The Big Babousa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Transito should have stopped the shot. Damian Transito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Federico Di Iorio in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Big Babousa's zone, Christian Paganelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Transito came out of the goal and Christian Paganelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Big Babousa's Ladislao Petri was substituted for Ricardo-Enrique Bochini. If Enrico De Grandis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Segio hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The long shot by Flavio Fantini in the 68th minute really tested Damian Transito's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 70th minute, Genaro Porfirio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Big Babousa's Ladislao Petri in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alba FC's goalie prevented a goal. Big Babousa's Damian Transito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Big Babousa from getting a goal against them.
