Bo Istenow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eske Aggervild to maneuver through the defense. Thejs Spedtsbjerg kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduard Mutu in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bjørn Toklev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eske Aggervild made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Thejs Spedtsbjerg however managed to control. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Silviu Bădila hit a great ball. Gheorghe Comăneci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Bjørn Toklev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Strib Galacticos IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eske Aggervild to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the game, Cristi Aaxiniei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Luck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strib Galacticos IF the free kick. Nicu Mincu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Istenow, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eske Aggervild during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th minute, one of Strib Galacticos IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Strib Galacticos IF. Bjørn Toklev had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Silviu Hrandabur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eduard Mutu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Bjørn Toklev 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hagbard Ribov to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicu Mincu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hagbard Ribov in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hagbard Ribov got free with Nicu Mincu in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gelu Bulă took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bjørn Toklev. Bjørn Toklev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 64 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Bădila. In the 76th minute, Bo Istenow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicu Mincu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gelu Bulă hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Cristi Aaxiniei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduard Levițchi kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Sandu Irimia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Luck and the Strib Galacticos IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Strib Galacticos IF. Eske Aggervild stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicu Mincu. 2-2. After 88 played minutes FC Luck got a freekick which was hit by George Huștiu. Bjørn Toklev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Mutu in the 91st minute of play. Bjørn Toklev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Mutu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The corner led FC Luck's Silviu Hrandabur to fire away a dangerous shot which Bjørn Toklev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Strib Galacticos IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Luck from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
