Alfredo Gumaro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Belgrano de Pibasog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Gumaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Alfredo Olave had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raoul Lambert. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pacho Carabajal in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Olave saved Belgrano de Pibasog from getting behind. With a little luck, Belgrano de Pibasog's Alfredo Olave got control of the ball when Constant Vanden Broucke tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Belgrano de Pibasog's goal looked a bit too open when Pacho Carabajal came free, but Alfredo Olave reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Otsoko came free, but Charles De Meur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles De Meur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Belgrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Constant Vanden Broucke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfredo Llanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee ignored Brugge United's protests and gave Mark Wauters a yellow card for diving instead. Mark Wauters hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Belgrano de Pibasog's Ulises Otsoko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charles De Meur. Charles De Meur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Charles De Meur made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Alfredo Llanos sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Olave showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Wauters, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
