Spectators: 7740 (Terracing: 5806, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cristinel Bocaneț got the match started through his kick off. Vlad Anghel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Cassin in the 7th minute of play. Melchor Chorache made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Cristian Moisil sent off a good shot on target. Melchor Chorache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Bocaneț in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Isias in the 33rd minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Vlad Anghel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, MIT Craiova's Melchor Chorache threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristinel Bocaneț, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paulino Araoz made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Marcel Pătrășconiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MIT Craiova's Vlad Anghel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Cassin in the 53rd minute of play. Max Cassin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vlad Anghel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vlad Anghel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Cassin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Honorio Isias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Gorgory got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Isias. After a rather tough play, Gorgory's Santos Presebal got a free kick in the 76th minute. Valer Papadima was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Cristinel Bocaneț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Moisil in the 80th minute of play. Melchor Chorache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Bocaneț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Chorache came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by MIT Craiova's Cristinel Bocaneț. But to his dismay, Cristinel Bocaneț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Cristinel Bocaneț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Chorache having to interfere. Ulises Fidencio hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, MIT Craiova could leave the field as winners, despite Gorgory having more of the ball for most of the match.
