In the 18th match minute, berretaweres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Gamus to maneuver through the defense. Christian Gamus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Pacorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. TALLERES DE CBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Cordarrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Tuste charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee ignored berretaweres's protests and gave Cayetano Olivar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, berretaweres's Cayetano Olivar got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 78thth minute of the game Vinicio Jayvier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TALLERES DE CBA's Alejo Pacorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. TALLERES DE CBA's Alejo Pacorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Basualdo in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Dorio in the 90th minute of play forced TALLERES DE CBA's goalkeeper Alejo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in berretaweres's zone, Gonzalo Klusener stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Chuan came out of the goal and Gonzalo Klusener tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
