With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Eduardo Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Remicio was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Richard Hoffmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Hoffmann really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Carlos Eduardo Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Odon's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Txanton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Róbson Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Odon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Carlos Eduardo Chaves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Roceira SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo Bizi was slow to take the kick. During this time EL REY DE LA CARNE's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Eduardo Chaves made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Domingo Baraquiel sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Hoffmann during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Chaves successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute Adrian Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Remicio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Hoffmann in the 81st minute of play. Lino Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Washington dos Santos in the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the EL REY DE LA CARNE defense, Washington dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Remicio. The EL REY DE LA CARNE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Remicio should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Mário Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Remicio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when EL REY DE LA CARNE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, EL REY DE LA CARNE's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Nascimento came free, but Lino Remicio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
