The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Mateo Berart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gigel Tilea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rafael Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Etxekopar came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Joachim hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 14th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Rafael Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Olimpiu Dichiseanu got a free kick in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, El ABUELO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Oniga came free, but Rafael Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Dumitru Pantelimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Academia Rio's Olimpiu Dichiseanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Pitin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 32nd minute, Lucas Baladi made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rafael Pitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Gheban in the 40th minute. Sergiu Coșeriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Rafael Pitin made a huge save. El ABUELO FC's Rafael Pitin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 45th minute of play. In the 58th minute Olimpiu Dichiseanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Dichiseanu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of El ABUELO FC's Rafael Pitin. Rafael Pitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gigel Tilea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Berart in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aron Petrescu in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Pitin saved El ABUELO FC from getting behind. Rafael Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Coșeriu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Berart to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olimpiu Dichiseanu in the 75th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Rafael Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Etxekopar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Tilea having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Sergiu Coșeriu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rafael Pitin. El ABUELO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergiu Coșeriu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 88 minutes into the match, El ABUELO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Oniga came free, but Rafael Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the El ABUELO FC defense, Olimpiu Dichiseanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Pitin. The El ABUELO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Pitin should have stopped the shot. Academia Rio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
