The corner was taken by Leonardo Serrano in the 9th minute. The corner led to Mandrake fc's Berdaitz Valcarcel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Afonsinho Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txomin Cienfuegos, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Pelayo Segura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Txomin Cienfuegos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonsinho Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Zuera Never End MZC's Anselmo Aguiar got a free kick in the 21st minute. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mandrake fc getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arias Goyanes hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Mandrake fc's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Jacinto came free, but Elar Quero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elar Quero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pelayo Segura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dudu Jacinto came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Zuera Never End MZC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Jacinto couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Zuera Never End MZC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Anselmo Aguiar hit a great ball. After the first half Mandrake fc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeferson Vasconcelos to strike the kick off in the second half. Jailson de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Elar Quero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuera Never End MZC. Gabriel Maldonado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Afonsinho Sampaio having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Txomin Cienfuegos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leonardo Serrano, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 67th match minute, Mandrake fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Tarin to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Zuera Never End MZC's Afonsinho Sampaio got control of the ball when Txomin Cienfuegos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match Mandrake fc got a corner. Zuera Never End MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leonardo Serrano ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeferson Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Elar Quero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuera Never End MZC. 86 minutes into the match, Jeferson Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elar Quero. Mandrake fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeferson Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Zuera Never End MZC booed when Mandrake fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Millán Revuelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Joel Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Mandrake fc's Pelayo Segura ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afonsinho Sampaio. Afonsinho Sampaio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The Mandrake fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mandrake fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
