The Olympiacos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustratios Vertsotis should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 11 in the game by Vitório Campidelis from a close distance when the talented Eustratios Vertsotis managed to make a qualified save. Olympiacos FC's players were relieved. Eustratios Vertsotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 15th minute of the match. Vitório Campidelis came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eustratios Vertsotis could save by the left post. After having played for 21 minutes, Panos Loukas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympiacos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panos Loukas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Grigorakos. Eustratios Vertsotis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 22nd minute. Luiz Fabiano Oranges short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Eustratios Vertsotis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 26 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Cerezo. 28 minutes into the match, Kostas Tziolas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquinho Guerra. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kostas Tziolas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eustratios Vertsotis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 31st minute of the match. Vitório Campidelis had several of the Olympiacos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Eustratios Vertsotis as he didn't even see the shot coming. Olympiacos FC's Giannis Grigorakos got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Giannis Grigorakos off the ground. In the 38th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Grigorakos to maneuver through the defense. Eustratios Vertsotis made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Luiz Fabiano Orange sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Soulis Partalis replaced Gerasimos Pappagiorgas. The wind increased when Luiz Fabiano Orange made the kick off in the second half. Vitório Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustratios Vertsotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Vitório Campidelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 59th match minute, Olympiacos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Tassakos to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Olympiacos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Campidelis came free, but Eustratios Vertsotis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Panos Ntountas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Olympiacos FC's Eustratios Vertsotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Cerezo in the 70th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play Olympiacos FC's Panos Loukas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After some careless play in the Olympiacos FC defense, Rubens Cerezo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. The Olympiacos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustratios Vertsotis should have stopped the shot. After 83 minutes of play, Olympiacos FC's Soulis Partalis made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Guerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute, Panos Ntountas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Cerezo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Kostas Tziolas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Meletiou. Amadeu Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Orange in the 95th minute of play forced Olympiacos FC's goalkeeper Eustratios Vertsotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Oséias Orange made a precise shot to the right of Eustratios Vertsotis. Olympiacos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. There was no doubt that Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were the better team. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
