In the 14th minute, Doctor Ivanov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CRUZ DEL SUR's Amato Heyboer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslav Pavel in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Miroslav Pavel put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amato Heyboer. In the 33rd match minute, Vidlákov SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Miliano to maneuver through the defense. Miroslav Pavel took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amato Heyboer. Amato Heyboer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in CRUZ DEL SUR's zone, Miroslav Pavel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amato Heyboer came out of the goal and Miroslav Pavel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Chocholatý showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Cabedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan María Maeztu in the 44th minute of play forced Vidlákov SK's goalkeeper Martin Chocholatý to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jude Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miroslav Pavel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amato Heyboer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miroslav Pavel in the 53rd minute. The supporters of CRUZ DEL SUR booed when Vidlákov SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ross Ross didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amato Heyboer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslav Pavel in the 85th minute of play. Rodolfo Britto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Amato Heyboer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vidlákov SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
