Peace Home Street Boys's Björn Walmarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute William Lundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Belarmo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Lundström in the 11th minute of play forced Club Universidad Nacional's goalkeeper Romeo Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes, Diego Sanson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Universidad Nacional and the Peace Home Street Boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Club Universidad Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Sanson to maneuver through the defense. If Gualterio Pio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zebastian Lind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Romeo Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiph Brummer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Universidad Nacional's Fernando Belarmo got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute Lennart Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the match Peace Home Street Boys got a corner. Club Universidad Nacional's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. William Lundström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Peace Home Street Boys's corner William Lundström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Romeo Pedroso quite easily take care of the ball. Karl-Axel Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Pio in the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Club Universidad Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Nordmark came free, but Romeo Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Lundström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Karl-Axel Nyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Velasco in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, William Lundström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Club Universidad Nacional's Romeo Pedroso. Romeo Pedroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lennart Nordmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Pedroso having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and William Lundström made a kick off. Diego Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Karl-Axel Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Lundström in the 54th minute. Björn Walmarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Romeo Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Nordmark in the 73rd minute of play. Justo Tohias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Axel Nyman having to interfere. Karl-Axel Nyman came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Universidad Nacional's Justo Tohias. But to his dismay, Justo Tohias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Club Universidad Nacional's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Lennart Nordmark scored to the left of an out of position Romeo Pedroso, making the score, 1-3. 90 minutes into the match, William Lundström notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Club Universidad Nacional's Romeo Pedroso. Romeo Pedroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the game, William Lundström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Romeo Pedroso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Club Universidad Nacional fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peace Home Street Boys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
