An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Vergaray in the 14th minute of play forced Cestarolli FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Cardozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadá Capixaba kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Cestarolli FC booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Bazkoare didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ismael Vergaray hit a great ball. Juan Pablo Gallinas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Leonardo Cardozo made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Alberto Leme hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Leonardo Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Vergaray in the 55th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Celestino Bazkoare made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Cardozo. Cestarolli FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Celestino Bazkoare struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Leonardo Cardozo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT. Celestino Bazkoare took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Cardozo. Leonardo Cardozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 71stth minute of the game Celestino Bazkoare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cestarolli FC's Leonardo Cardozo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ismael Vergaray hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, André Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Pacheco to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's zone, Alberto Leme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Lluis came out of the goal and Alberto Leme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Celestino Bazkoare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Cardozo. Cestarolli FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Bazkoare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Cestarolli FC's José Pedro Macedo suffered a sore knee after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Vergaray during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cestarolli FC's Jorge Queiroz was substituted for José Pedro Macedo. Leonardo Cardozo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Bazkoare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes Cestarolli FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Queiroz. After 95 minutes, André Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cestarolli FC and the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT players grew even worse after the yellow card.
