In the 10th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Montay to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute Godofredo Gervaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Frisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Lucero having to interfere. Silvestre Txomin took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Lucero. Donato Lucero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Frisco made a kick off. In the 52nd of the match, Horacio Eliazar tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Santos Mino got in the way and made a wonderful save.
