After 16 played minutes ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ got a freekick which was hit by German Lia. 18 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when German Lia came free, but Santos Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Silvestre Txomin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Northern California's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ the free kick. Silvestre Txomin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Bernard McFrank charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernard McFrank the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paolo Urko made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Timoteo Frisco sent off a good shot on target. Santos Mino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korhan Türkol's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ were awarded a corner. Claudio Echeverri went to the cornerflag to take it. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Claudio Echeverri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santos Mino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 42nd minute German Lia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Korhan Türkol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Mino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Millano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paolo Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvestre Txomin in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 played minutes ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Frances. Korhan Türkol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Korhan Türkol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santos Mino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korhan Türkol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Santos Mino made a huge save. Korhan Türkol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Mino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Northern California's goalkeeper Santos Mino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Northern California's Santos Mino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Northern California from getting a goal against them. Claudio Echeverri kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
