The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Paraíba got free with Jo Maerschalcx in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Zhen Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert-Jan Raymaekers charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert-Jan Raymaekers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MAZER SAF booed when SK Dreigoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert-Jan Raymaekers didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx got control of the ball when Shi Zhen Kun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jo Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Garro in the 11th minute of the match. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Zhen Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK Dreigoten were furious when Evert-Jan Raymaekers was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 16 minutes into the game, one of SK Dreigoten:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. SK Dreigoten:s Jo Maerschalcx showed great skill when he stopped Beraldo Soberano:s penalty. 21 minutes into the match, Magno Maranhense notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx. Jo Maerschalcx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute Rodrigo Garro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Maerschalcx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zé Pedro Reis fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAZER SAF's protests and gave Zé Pedro Reis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Zé Pedro Reis hit a great ball. Laércio Paraíba got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jo Maerschalcx handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Shi Zhen Kun hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Gabriel Moscardó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAZER SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 43 played minutes SK Dreigoten got a freekick which was hit by Emmanuel Van Laer. Shi Zhen Kun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Jo Maerschalcx made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jo Maerschalcx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laércio Paraíba. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Carlos Alberto Guedes got a free kick in the 51st minute. Adriano Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Van Laer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Emmanuel Van Laer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jo Maerschalcx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Paraíba in the 55th minute of the match. Jo Maerschalcx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lex Haesevoets hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 74th minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Jo Maerschalcx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 minutes, Floris Van Glabeeke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SK Dreigoten and the MAZER SAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SK Dreigoten getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Floris Van Glabeeke hit a great ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Shi Zhen Kun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Dreigoten's Jo Maerschalcx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Han Yan Chao to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacky Wauters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jo Maerschalcx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the MAZER SAF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
