In the 5th minute of the match Cristo Ermano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Saturnin skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Victoriano Banegas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simbo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Banegas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thibaut Courtois breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lane Rhoades struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Diego Saturnin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Guifre went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

GERLIROJO Ψ made a substitution. Aristides Oro replaced Emilio Ayala. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nair Galarza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
