Anier Guifre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Gates having to interfere. After 6 played minutes GERLIROJO Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Ayala. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Tab in the 12th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Jack Gates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Emilio Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack Gates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GERLIROJO Ψ's Thibaut Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save GERLIROJO Ψ from getting a goal against them. In the 19th match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tyler Morton to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Guifre in the 20th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Jack Gates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Gates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Guifre came free, but Jack Gates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Cazorla got free with Thibaut Courtois in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ashley Ross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, GERLIROJO Ψ's Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Santiago Cazorla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ashley Ross in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thibaut Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jack Gates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Ayala scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jack Gates, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Emilio Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jack Gates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Greenbay's Ashley Ross sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thibaut Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jack Gates made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Ayala in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, GERLIROJO Ψ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Guifre to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Greenbay's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Ayala came free, but Jack Gates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GERLIROJO Ψ's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mesut Özil in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Greenbay booed when GERLIROJO Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Oro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GERLIROJO Ψ's zone, Mesut Özil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal and Mesut Özil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ashley Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Greenbay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Junior Tompkins to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Federico Tab sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jack Gates skillfully saved the ball. In the 93rd minute, Junior Tompkins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Greenbay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
