Independiente's Christian Muc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. Independiente's Christian Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Cristos in the 36th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Bernabe Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Carlomagno during the 47th minute.
