Luiz Fábio Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Anastasio Brais hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudio Oskitz's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The audience was convinced that Claudio Oskitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fábio Castro was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Eloy Urko kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Urko in the 41st minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Christian Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Oskitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Urko was the one to do the kick off. Anastasio Brais hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Independiente's Christian Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Urko in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Slakun FC were awarded a corner. Winston Hidalgo went to the cornerflag to take it. 56 minutes into the game, Lisandro Lobo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slakun FC the free kick. Lisandro Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Eloy Urko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Fábio Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Estavan in the 64th minute of the match. When Independiente's Claudio Oskitz in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slakun FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Claudio Oskitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slakun FC's Luiz Fábio Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Slakun FC defense, Jacinto Estavan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Fábio Castro. The Slakun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Fábio Castro should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Victor Hug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slakun FC the free kick. After 77 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Victor Hug. Cayetano Mendiko struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Christian Muc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slakun FC. Fabricio Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Estavan in the 82nd minute of play. Lisandro Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Slakun FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Lixandro. Christian Muc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Mendiko in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Hug to maneuver through the defense. Eloy Urko succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Independiente players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
