The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wallace Newman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Nicolae Drăgoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cormoranii -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recolta Alamor the free kick. Nicolae Drăgoi hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theron Creech during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Recolta Alamor got a freekick which was hit by Theron Creech. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Răduțu during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 7 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Costică Răduțu. Tudor Urdăreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wallace Newman in the 10th minute of play. When Gary Kasparov fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cormoranii -MM-'s protests and gave Gary Kasparov a yellow card for diving instead. Gary Kasparov hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Recolta Alamor were awarded a corner. Norman Donnelly went to the cornerflag to take it. 25 minutes into the match, Recolta Alamor's Rex Ellis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tudor Urdăreanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wallace Newman struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tudor Urdăreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recolta Alamor. Tudor Urdăreanu made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Norman Donnelly sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norman Donnelly in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tudor Urdăreanu saved Cormoranii -MM- from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Tudor Urdăreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norman Donnelly. Grigore Proca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Drăgoi's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Recolta Alamor's Norman Donnelly ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tudor Urdăreanu. Tudor Urdăreanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Recolta Alamor's Norman Donnelly came free and shot a quick shot against goal 42 minutes in the game, fortunately Tudor Urdăreanu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 48th minute, Cormoranii -MM-'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rex Ellis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Manuel Negru made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Cormoranii -MM- defense, Norman Donnelly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tudor Urdăreanu. The Cormoranii -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tudor Urdăreanu should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Rex Ellis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Recolta Alamor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Donnelly in the 63rd minute of play forced Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Tudor Urdăreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eusebiu Godeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grigore Proca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Godeanu in the 77th minute of play. Rex Ellis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Tudor Urdăreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebiu Godeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Rex Ellis put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tudor Urdăreanu. If Wallace Newman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Recolta Alamor's Alonzo Donahue got a free kick in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Recolta Alamor fully deserved thier win.
