An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 25th minute of play forced Piquirenda FC's goalkeeper Nestor Mogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piquirenda FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Justo Casado got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Piquirenda FC defense, Eliseu Braga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Mogel. The Piquirenda FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Mogel should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Piquirenda FC's Nestor Mogel got control of the ball when Eliseu Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chuttur Lønge to make the kick off. Piquirenda FC's Nestor Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseu Braga in the 52nd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Mandrak. Chuttur Lønge struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Nestor Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marquês de Herval. Evandro Lara was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Efrain Ramone showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 64 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Leandro Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Mogel. Piquirenda FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 81stth minute of the game Chuttur Lønge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piquirenda FC's Nestor Mogel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Iker Vistruario got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evandro Lara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 89th minute, Pablo Rufio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquirenda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Nicasio Lauaxeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evandro Lara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicasio Lauaxeta ran back to his position shaking his head.
