José Vítor da Mata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wallace Newman in the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Rex Ellis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 25 minutes on the clock, Luisão Tasso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Recolta Alamor a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Norman Donnelly, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ♣¥ OS IMPOSSIVEIS ¥♣'s José Vítor da Mata. 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norman Donnelly to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Theron Creech managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recolta Alamor's supporters rose to their feet, but Theron Creech was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor da Mata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
