In the 11th minute Brock Friend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Vas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jácint Vámosi charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jácint Vámosi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ágyúsok FC's Jácint Vámosi got a free kick in the 18th minute. Arthur Bufi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lóránd Zsinka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bálint Vas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Friend, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After 34 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Rezende. After having played for 35 minutes, Károly Fazekas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Aníbal Recife fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's protests and gave Aníbal Recife a yellow card for diving instead. Aníbal Recife hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Károly Fazekas.

Arthur Bufi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Károly Fazekas's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Brock Friend's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bálint Vas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Arthur Bufi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lóránd Zsinka in the 65th minute of play. Arthur Bufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Károly Fazekas in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Rogério Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Vas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Károly Fazekas in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Bufi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 played minutes Ágyúsok FC got a freekick which was hit by Lóránd Zsinka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Károly Fazekas in the 82nd minute of play forced Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Arthur Bufi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Károly Fazekas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Arthur Bufi. Arthur Bufi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Károly Fazekas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arthur Bufi should have stopped the shot. The Ágyúsok FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
