Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Fuselli in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flávio Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 9 minutes, Adilson Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club RRFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juan Alberto Zorrilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adilson Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Fuselli in the 15th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Flávio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT's Raimundo Fuselli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 35 minutes, Tancredo Puyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT and the Futbol Club RRFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flávio Marques came out of the goal and Raimundo Fuselli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flávio Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xacobo Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
Lorenzo Arestizabal's late challenge caught a Futbol Club RRFV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Arestizabal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Futbol Club RRFV booed when SHOOT SPEED KILL LIGHT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position.
