The throw-in from Barnaba Dziechciowski in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Sociedad's Frédéric Pantel. Libertad Sarmientos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Mateusz Hajto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Miromir Kazanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nieciece's supporters rose to their feet, but Miromir Kazanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sauveur Lisundia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Nieciece were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miromir Kazanowski to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miromir Kazanowski got free with Sauveur Lisundia in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes into the match, Nieciece's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Millano came free, but Mateusz Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miromir Kazanowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sauveur Lisundia having to interfere. Miromir Kazanowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sauveur Lisundia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miromir Kazanowski went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Miromir Kazanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sauveur Lisundia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miromir Kazanowski in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sauveur Lisundia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sauveur Lisundia made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Miromir Kazanowski sent off a good shot on target. Libertad Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateusz Hajto having to make a save. In the 82nd minute Libertad Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Hajto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
