After 10 played minutes Fala Sério FC got a freekick which was hit by William Papin. Dráuzio Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Celso Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LauerArmy. In the 20thth minute of the game Armandinho Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fala Sério FC's Celso Brito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 played minutes Fala Sério FC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Reis. In the 23rd minute, João Pedro do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Fala Sério FC defense, Dráuzio Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Brito. The Fala Sério FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Brito should have stopped the shot. Celso Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LauerArmy were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Fala Sério FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dráuzio Trancoso took the corner. 33 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Lira came free, but Mazinho Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes, Tomé Marinho made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Fala Sério FC's Celso Brito tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Giuseppe Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Luiz Fabiano Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fala Sério FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after LauerArmy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. João Carvalho took the corner. Ricardo Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mazinho Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Pedro Luiz de Moraes sped through Fala Sério FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Celso Brito. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elano de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Luiz de Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Celso Brito skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomé Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Celso Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Celso Brito throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomé Marinho in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Tomé Marinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celso Brito, 0-7. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Luiz Guedes hit a great ball. Pedro Luiz de Moraes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Celso Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Celso Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Marinho in the 78th minute of the match. Celso Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomé Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Celso Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Luiz de Moraes in the 80th minute. The LauerArmy fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when LauerArmy's Pedro Luiz de Moraes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Erik Freitas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celso Brito having to make a save. In the 93rd match minute, Fala Sério FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Veiga to maneuver through the defense. Celso Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Freitas in the 94th minute. With his leg Celso Brito managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when LauerArmy's Erik Freitas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. LauerArmy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
