The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. La Candela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Popowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ovidio Mogel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olgierd Dziuma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Candela FC's Ovidio Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Popowicz in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Tiburcio Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Golaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Gelacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Golaszewski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Gelacio in the 28th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Krzysztof Golaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Red Devils from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Zachary Parzysz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Su to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Red Devils were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucjan Popowicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Candela FC's Ovidio Mogel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save La Candela FC from getting a goal against them. Zachary Parzysz struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ovidio Mogel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Devils. Ovidio Mogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Popowicz in the 55th minute of play. Olaf Karanowski kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Red Devils's Slawomir Falk got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Roberto Tartalo came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Tartalo couldn't finish the play. La Candela FC made a substitution. Joaquin Domenec replaced Generoso Gaskon. In the 70th minute of the match La Candela FC got a corner. Red Devils's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Tartalo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to La Candela FC's Javier Ondino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Zachary Parzysz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olgierd Dziuma hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Su came free, but Krzysztof Golaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 minutes, Cipriano Florin made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Su in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krzysztof Golaszewski saved Red Devils from getting behind. In the 82ndth minute of the game Amadeo Su who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Devils's Krzysztof Golaszewski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, La Candela FC's Ovidio Mogel got control of the ball when Andrzej Markowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute La Candela FC were awarded a corner. Roberto Tartalo went to the cornerflag to take it. La Candela FC's Roberto Tartalo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Krzysztof Golaszewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Krzysztof Golaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Vargas in the 94th minute of play.
