After the first half A. A. SAQUAREMA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bobbo á Neystabø made a kick off. João Carlos Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Cauan Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
