With a little luck, FA Sandtown's Hugon Lepper got control of the ball when Rıfkı Esenboğa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Ahmet İlke Akbayrak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugon Lepper. The goal made the score 2-0. If Rıfkı Esenboğa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacco Bednarek's late challenge caught a CAN ERZURUM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacco Bednarek helped the player get up and apologised. Atay Neba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Hugon Lepper made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rıfkı Esenboğa got free with Hugon Lepper in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Golo Machinam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugon Lepper having to make a save. After some careless play in the FA Sandtown defense, Golo Machinam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Lepper. The FA Sandtown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Lepper should have stopped the shot. Hugon Lepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet İlke Akbayrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FA Sandtown defense, Atay Neba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugon Lepper. The FA Sandtown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugon Lepper should have stopped the shot. Mauri Icardi had several of the FA Sandtown's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Hugon Lepper as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauri Icardi in the 30th minute of play forced FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Hugon Lepper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FA Sandtown's Hugon Lepper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FA Sandtown from getting a goal against them. Rıfkı Esenboğas short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Hugon Lepper to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Golo Machinam reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugon Lepper. The goal made the score 6-0. Hugon Lepper was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Golo Machinam capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Golo Machinam really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Tuncer Polathan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patryk Harendarski in the 42nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Rıfkı Esenboğa took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Hugon Lepper to make any attempt to save it. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Faruk Nafiz Ökmener replaced Atay Neba. CAN ERZURUM's Ahmet Ceyhan Akartuna was substituted for Ümit Zeren. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patryk Harendarski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hugon Lepper came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by CAN ERZURUM's Rıfkı Esenboğa. But to his dismay, Rıfkı Esenboğa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Hugon Lepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauri Icardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauri Icardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugon Lepper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet İlke Akbayrak in the 75th minute of play. CAN ERZURUM's Tuncer Polathan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save CAN ERZURUM from getting a goal against them. Tuncer Polathan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Limanowski in the 84th minute of play. Hugon Lepper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauri Icardi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 15-0 was the resulting score. Mauri Icardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugon Lepper having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Ahmet İlke Akbayrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugon Lepper was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. CAN ERZURUM walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
