In the 4th minute Porfiro Ordax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Igrejas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Albérico Igrejas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Porfiro Ordax in the 5th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s Albérico Igrejas showed great skill when he stopped Oton Mendaza:s penalty. 10 minutes into the match, Oton Mendaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albérico Igrejas. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oton Mendaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gastão Cesário in the 13th minute of play forced Bomseral FC's goalkeeper Donzel Duro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albérico Igrejas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Porfiro Ordax's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Porfiro Ordax had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albérico Igrejas. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Porfiro Ordax was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bomseral FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Aristides Espírito Santo scored to the left of an out of position Donzel Duro, making the score, 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natal Corias in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albérico Igrejas saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Bomseral FC's goalkeeper Donzel Duro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Patrício. After 28 minutes of play, Bomseral FC's Porfiro Ordax made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albérico Igrejas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Espírito Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donzel Duro having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Bomseral FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gastão Cesário came free, but Donzel Duro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the game, Natal Corias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bomseral FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. the free kick. Natal Corias kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Albérico Igrejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porfiro Ordax in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 minutes Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Oton Mendaza who took care of the corner kick. Natal Corias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goalkeeper Albérico Igrejas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bomseral FC's Joey Fernandes got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Pegado to maneuver through the defense. Albérico Igrejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porfiro Ordax, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. A hard shot 60 in the game by Natal Corias from a close distance when the talented Albérico Igrejas managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s players were relieved. 64 minutes into the match, Porfiro Ordax dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albérico Igrejas, 1-4. When Bomseral FC's Porfiro Ordax in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Natal Corias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bomseral FC's Gaspar Betzanos was substituted for Porfiro Ordax. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oton Mendaza during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th match minute, Bomseral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oton Mendaza to maneuver through the defense. Albérico Igrejas made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Joey Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 89 in the game by Joey Fernandes from a close distance when the talented Albérico Igrejas managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s players were relieved. When Joey Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Bomseral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joey Fernandes couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Bomseral FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. throughout the match.
