Donzel Duro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Griffith, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Arnau Gregorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truman Cooley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Bob Griffith notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Bomseral FC's Donzel Duro. Donzel Duro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Natal Corias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Truman Cooley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, C. A. Bomseral FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Independiente the free kick. Independiente's attentive Elliot Orozco managed to snatch the ball when Olivar Juarbe made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Oton Mendaza didn't quite understand what happened when in the 81 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Gaspar Betzanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Adam Farris could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Donzel Duro however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Farris got free with Donzel Duro in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute, Adam Farris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donzel Duro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. The C. A. Independiente supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C. A. Independiente would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
