In the 2nd match minute, Atletico Benevento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giacomo Guarisi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Comunardo Pocobello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Benevento's supporters rose to their feet, but Comunardo Pocobello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jesus Cisco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atletico Benevento's Attilio Silveri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Benevento from getting a goal against them. Giacomo Guarisi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jesus Cisco having to make a save. After 11 played minutes ATLETICO TOSODELMA got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Chumo. Jesus Cisco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giacomo Guarisi's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When Giacomo Guarisi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. After having played for 28 minutes, Aldo Fioriti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Benevento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Fioriti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Comunardo Pocobello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Attilio Silveri threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gogo Quintan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Comunardo Pocobello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Cisco having to interfere. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Benevento's goalkeeper Attilio Silveri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessio Cancemi made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Benevento's Comunardo Pocobello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jesus Cisco. That made the score 0-2 after 50 minutes of play. 56 minutes into the game, Feliberto Chumo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Benevento the free kick. In the 56th match minute, ATLETICO TOSODELMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Chumo to maneuver through the defense. Jesus Cisco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Fioriti, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jesus Cisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lisandro Ascencio fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ATLETICO TOSODELMA's protests and gave Lisandro Ascencio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Atletico Benevento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Cancemi to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Benevento's Alessio Cancemi got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ATLETICO TOSODELMA's Jesus Cisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save ATLETICO TOSODELMA from getting a goal against them. Jesus Cisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Fioriti in the 88th minute of play.
