The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Memphis Grizzlies's Freddie Gettins managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Antonello Mannella in the 4 minute of the game. A collision led to Hyblae FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Antonello Mannella hit a great ball. Eric Choupo-Moting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Choupo-Moting's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateusz Dembkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Hyblae FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Choupo-Moting came free, but Mateusz Dembkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pat Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Imperiale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Choupo-Moting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonello Mannella kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Pat Zamora made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Vincent King sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Ethan Smart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateusz Dembkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Choupo-Moting, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Hyblae FC defense, Eric Choupo-Moting kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateusz Dembkowski. The Hyblae FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateusz Dembkowski should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ethan Smart in the 38th minute of play forced Hyblae FC's goalkeeper Mateusz Dembkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Antonello Mannella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eric Choupo-Moting made a kick off. Mateusz Dembkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Choupo-Moting in the 51st minute of play. Pat Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent King in the 53rd minute of the match. Memphis Grizzlies's Pat Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent King in the 54th minute of play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Ethan Smart from a close distance when the talented Mateusz Dembkowski managed to make a qualified save. Hyblae FC's players were relieved. After 56 played minutes Memphis Grizzlies got a freekick which was hit by Ciarán Symons. In the 59th minute, Enrico Franceschi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Freddie Gettins in the 59th minute really tested Mateusz Dembkowski's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 63rd minute Ethan Smart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pat Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Imperiale in the 65th minute of play. Hyblae FC's Mateusz Dembkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Hyblae FC from getting a goal against them. Yin Zhen Feng lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Danny Clegg replaced Ciarán Symons. Danny Clegg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mateusz Dembkowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Danny Clegg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 85th minute. Carmine Imperiale's late challenge caught a Memphis Grizzlies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Imperiale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, Hyblae FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Imperiale to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 88 minutes, Hayden Sharp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hayden Sharp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 93 played minutes Hyblae FC got a freekick which was hit by Vincente Soldatino. After 95 minutes of play, Memphis Grizzlies's Hayden Sharp made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateusz Dembkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97th minute Danny Clegg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateusz Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
