Patricio Aurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Ramos having to interfere. Warren FC - DMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Luis in the 20th minute. The corner led Warren FC - DMZ's David Luis to fire away a dangerous shot which Aydın Mehmet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aydın Mehmet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Silva in the 22nd minute of play. Warren FC - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Ni Feng Nan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aydın Mehmet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Aurre to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, FC Montana's goalkeeper Aydın Mehmet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ni Feng Nan. Warren FC - DMZ's Zé Roberto Pires was substituted for Ni Feng Nan. 70 minutes into the match, Patricio Aurre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acácio Ramos. Warren FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Aurre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Warren FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Aurre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Montana had won after a very even match.
