SABALEPLUS's Roman Su played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diguinho Gaúcho in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber da Costa came free, but Roman Su reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Su having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Cléber da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Su. SABALEPLUS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cléber da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

SABALEPLUS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Rossi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on SORRISO E. C.'s corner David Rossi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roman Su quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to SABALEPLUS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dalmacio Iratze hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, SABALEPLUS's goalkeeper Roman Su had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cléber da Costa. The referee gave Dalmacio Iratze a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of SORRISO E. C. booed when SABALEPLUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
