In the 7th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Arriaran to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Samuca Ramalho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ysmael Alemparte skillfully saved the ball. Altermundi FC's attentive Rainerio Buche managed to snatch the ball when Agostinho Rossi made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. Rogelio Luco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Sem Barang made a precise shot to the right of Gonçalo de Amorim. America Futebol Clube SP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gonçalo de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rogelio Luco's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rogelio Luco in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonçalo de Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Fausto de Souza with Agostinho Rossi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ysmael Alemparte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Régis Paiva in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25thth minute of the game Rogelio Luco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gonçalo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Luco in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to America Futebol Clube SP getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edson Mendonça hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Ysmael Alemparte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Luco in the 32nd minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Gonçalo de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto de Souza made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edson Mendonça. After the first half Altermundi FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Paulo Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Paulo Albuquerque came free, but Ysmael Alemparte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sem Barang, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gonçalo de Amorim was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gonçalo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Luco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of America Futebol Clube SP booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Arriaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Luco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo de Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Gonçalo de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Luco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 85th minute of the game Agostinho Rossi made a throw-in which Edson Mendonça played forward. 88 minutes into the match, Rogelio Luco notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of America Futebol Clube SP's Gonçalo de Amorim. Gonçalo de Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Altermundi FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Altermundi FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
