Eulalio Majua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Távora in the 6th minute of the match. When Rodolfo Peseiro fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Rodolfo Peseiro a yellow card for diving instead. Rodolfo Peseiro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Távora in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Majua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lorenzo Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Matias Amoruso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robert Enke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robert Enke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Amoruso went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Pepo De Simone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Robert Enke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lorenzo Ramirez made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pepo De Simone immediately put the ball in play. In the 31st minute, Carlos Mafra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Ramirez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olds School Pepo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terceirense F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Olds School Pepo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepo De Simone in the 37th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Robert Enke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Enke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepo De Simone, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Távora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Távora in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Majua saved Olds School Pepo from getting behind. Eulalio Majua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Távora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Olds School Pepo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Adalberto Pegado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Pegado's late challenge caught a Olds School Pepo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Pegado helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Olds School Pepo booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adalberto Pegado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Enke made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Tomas Cibran sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Olds School Pepo defense, Anselmo Baldaia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eulalio Majua. The Olds School Pepo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Majua should have stopped the shot. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Carlos Ferreira replaced Nicolas Guerreiro. Tomas Cibran hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Olds School Pepo's Victorio Lapurdi got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Olds School Pepo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olds School Pepo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
