DREAM TEAM WORLD's Tom Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Insaurralde in the 16th minute of play. The corner ended in Fermín Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DREAM TEAM WORLD's Tom Murillo did a great save. Tom Murillo made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Rolando González sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute, Leon Ogazón ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Araya was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tom Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermín Montes, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by DREAM TEAM WORLD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fermín Montes was slow to take the kick. During this time Zorros del Desierto's players had a chance to rest. Zorros del Desierto's Fermín Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tom Murillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fermín Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Murillo having to interfere. Zorros del Desierto's Chiquito Escalante got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Leon Ogazón made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Rolando González mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorros del Desierto and the DREAM TEAM WORLD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Ogazón got free with Hugo Araya in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Fermín Montes came free, but Tom Murillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquito Escalante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th match minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Clementi to maneuver through the defense. Zorros del Desierto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fermín Montes in the 81st minute. Jhon Stones hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Leon Ogazón managed to get in a good position for a shot. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Ogazón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Araya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th match minute, Zorros del Desierto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian San Juan to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Anacleto Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorros del Desierto's Fermín Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
